Foreign Licence Validation
For students who already possess a Private Pilot issued by another country we can assist you in the process and you can continue the rest of your flight training in the United States.
By following an online process, you will receive a verification letter that will allow you to obtain a private pilot license based on your foreign license. This process takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
VERIFICATION PROCESS
At ADF, we can help you with the verification process. Ask your Academic Counselor for support and further information.
Step 1:
Print and complete the verification form for your foreign license
Step 3:
Send your application to the FAA via fax. The number can be found in the form.
Step 4:
Upon verification, the FAA will send you a confirmation letter.
Step 5:
Once you have recieved the verification letter, contact ADF to schedule your appointment with an FAA examiner.
