Jet Transition

ICONOS-azules-1

Step 3

The Jet Transition course was created by ADF to prepare students for their future airline careers. The transition from small airplanes to high performance jet aircraft is made easier through our extensive ground and advanced simulator training. This program will give students a higher level of knowledge and experience than other candidates when they start the application process for the airlines.

Ā

The Jet Transition Course takes place during the second stage of a student’s Instrument Rating. The course’s duration is 30 days and consists of 50 hours of in person instruction and 8 circular modules.

Ā

The course includes the use of the CPaT platform, which provides airlines and aviation professionals with advanced distance learning programs including learning management systems, qualification management systems, electronic forms and a dynamic test generator. Students using the system will be independently certified by CPaT, which is a company that provides this same training certification to airline pilots throughout the world. The Jet Transition course is 20 hours of simulator training on our Airbus A320 AATD and 8 hours of familiarization, preparing our students to be more confident in their airline applications.

STAGE 1
  • CPaT ONLINE TRAINING

STAGE 2: ATP GROUND
  • 50 HOURS OF INSTRUCTION IN ATP THEORY
STAGE 3: SIMULATOR
  • 28 HOURS IN OUR AIRBUS A320 FAA CERTIFIED AATD SIMULATOR

This set of ATP theory and practical advanced simulator training, provides our students with a higher probability of being hired by an airline than the other candidates who have not received the training. This course will ensure their airline training is less stressful.
