Flight Instructor
Join our team at ADF Flight School as a Flight Instructor, where you’ll be instrumental in offering comprehensive flight, simulator, and ground instruction. This role involves adherence to Part 61 and 141 of the FAA regulations, the FAA Airmen’s Information Manual, advisory circulars, and airport operations protocols. As a Flight Instructor, you play a vital role in upholding ADF’s esteemed standards and contributing to the achievements of our students.
- Instruct student pilots in flight procedures and techniques.Â
- Accompany and assist students on training flights.Â
- Teach students techniques for controlling aircraft during taxiing, take offs, spins, turns, and landings. – Teach and explain operation of aircraft components such as rudder, flaps, ailerons, compass, and tachometer.Â
- Give students proficiency tests.Â
- Ensure that all flight lessons and flight books are completed before requesting stage check.Â
- Ensure that all training activities, flights, and briefings are conducted during specified time.Â
- Help do preflight and tying down aircraft.Â
- Must be able to attend meetings and be able to perform other duties assigned.Â
- Aircraft type Cessna 172.
- High School.Â
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single Engine Land Rating, Instrument Rating.Â
- FAA Flight Instructor Certificate with Airplane Single Engine Rating.Â
- FAA Medical Certificate (First, Second, Or Third Class).
